Taste

by: Roald  Dahl
Mike schofield  is a very rich man that lives with his wife and daughter. one day he invited his friends and one of them was Richard Pratt other very rich man. since they had a lot of money they had the more schist wine. on the dinner the maid brought the wine and mike wanted to know if Richard knew the name of that wine, the wine was a very rare wine. so mike had the idea to bet on it. so he said to Richard if he knew were did the wine came from. so Richard agreed, since Richard was attracted ot mikes daughter he told him to bet on his daughter hand and he agreed and Richard bet on 2 houses. Richard started to taste and smell the wine he started to answer and he said it right. but then the maid came and gave Richard his glasses that he left them in the study where the bottle was...

The moment we entered the dinning room, I could see that the table was laid for a feast.the tall candles, yellow roses, the quantity of shining silver, the three wineglasses to each person, and above all, the faint scent of roasting meat from the kitchen brought the first warm oozing of saliva to my mouth.

Dahl is saying showing us here in this example of imagery with the sense of sight sense they are seeing the living room. by using the word "see". and also its defying the objects that the table had very specif.

The protagonist of the story is mike and he has a very big house and he loves a wines of extraordinary the are and also from were they come from.

“i don't give a damn what it is - you're on.”

This reveals that mike doesn't care about the other people only him. and also that he is a very rude person.

This is a very interesting story that is very strange and has of different feelings of the characters. also is showing us that people that have money abuse that and doesn't care how much they are betting. its an amazing story that keeps me with my mouth open and also made me think a lot of what to characters.
