Examination day

examination day is about a boy named Richard but his family and friends call him dickie. he was turning 12 years and in his community every boy and girl need to do a test so they can see how intelligent they are. dickie was a very curious boy and he wondered about everything that is around him. when he was on the building there were a lot of boys and girls waiting to take the test. when they called his name he was nervous but at the same time was existed. he was on a room with a lady that told him to relax and to tell here whenever he is ready they can start the test. dickie was  very fast so asunas  the lady get of the room he was ready. then he took the test and then dickies parents got a call from the government that said that dickie all ready finished the test but his results were 600-115 and they said that his intelligence is above the government regulation so they told them what do they want to do with the body. 

They were at breakfast table, and the boy looked up from his plate curiously. He was an alert-eyed youngster with flat blond hair and a quick, nervous manner. He didn't understand what the sudden tension was about, but he did know that today was his birthday, and he wanted harmony above all. Somewhere in the little apartment there were wrapped, beriberi packages waiting to be opened, and
in the tiny wall-kitchen something warm and sweet was being prepared in the automatic stove.

in this example of imagery because they are telling us what is on the table for breakfast and its usign the word "looked".

He was an alert-eyed youngster with flat blond hair and a quick, nervous manner. He didn’t understand what the sudden tension was about, but he did know that today was his birthday, and he wanted harmony above all.

here is telling us Richard (dickie) is a curious boy and wants to understand that are around him.

this short story was amazing it gave a lot of surprises and it a really happy story also how the author described the protagonist it remained me of my brother also i saw the author has been using well the contrast of the story how he made so natural for the characters kill a person because they had a bigger regulation of what they asked for.
